After creating a character, the game allows the player to manipulate different environments to interact with other online players with dialogues and quests. The player has the choice to choose his character’s state, race, and origin story at the beginning of the game. Like the first game (Divinity: Original Sin), the player can play alone with only one character in his party. Bishop Alexander, the innocent, declares all Sourcerers as criminals therefore, a team of more than four Sourceres embarks on an adventure to defeat him.
